These are my favorite pair of shorts {ever}—japanese super high-waisted vintage shorts, and the peachy color is an added bonus. Pairing them with my orange boots puts me in a mood that’s ready for the summer-to-fall transition…a transition I am so ready for!

Hope you all have a great weekend!

It’s been quite some time since my last post and since then I’ve finished up my internship at Seventeen Magazine. It was a great experience, but now that I’m done I will now have more time to continue blogging and exploring the city–which I’m pretty pumped about.

Every girl who’s worn a high-low hem skirt knows how awesome they can make you feel. This leopard print one from Haute Chocolate is perfect for bringing out my wild side and making me feel like a caped crusader trotting down the streets of SoHo.  And when it catches the perfect gust of wind, I feel like I can conquer the world…and with that I’m on to the next adventure!

Hope you all are having a great week!

Summer in the city has begun–hot, humid, and a few random days where the weather is just PERFECT. Today’s weather was cool enough for a stroll through Battery Park wearing my finest pastel perfections.

I’m still adjusting to my surroundings, and at times I do miss the convenience of living in the south. Sometimes it feels like I’m dating the city. There’s days where you feel lovestruck by all the lights and possibilities of what could happen and you’re in a constant whirlwind of awe and inspiration. And then there’s days where the city is really trying to test you–the heat, the smells, the random crazies. But in the end, the city’s beautiful imperfections are what make it so great and I’m so happy to call it my new home.

I hope you all have a wonderful day!

I’ve officially been in New York for a month as of today– and I’m starting to feel right at home.  There is seriously something new every day, which is perfect for someone like me. I still have so much exploring to do and a whole lot of learning, but I’m starting to think that this city is the right place for me. But don’t get me wrong, I would do anything for a week off so I could hop on a plane and head home for a few days to see my family…and enjoy all the good things of the south that I miss oh so much.

Well, I’m off to assist on another photo shoot–a great way to kick off my Friday! I hope you all enjoy your weekend!

under armour launch

Just an update on my New York City livin’! And if you don’t already–be sure to follow me on instagram @ittybittybomb for more!

1. The cool building I get to spend my summer. Seventeen’s on the 17th floor–duh.

2. Surrounded by drool worthy clothes and accessories in the fashion closet. Now, only if it was my own closet!

3. Went on a cute boat tour with the girls from the winners of the Pretty Amazing contest. Isn’t lady liberty amazing?

4. One of the editors gave me the opportunity to cover the launch of Under Armour’s new shoe, Spine where I got to see Tom Brady, Lindsey Vonn, and Kemba Walker. Talk about being star struck!

5. My awesome supervisors assigned me to assist on my first photo shoot, which I was super pumped about. I couldn’t even sleep the night before–luckily the shoot was very chill and gave me a chance to see the models/crew/artists/stylist behind the scenes.

6-7. Indulging when we can. Talk about food coma.

8. My amazing nails–masterpiece created by Miss Pop (she is incredibly awesome BTW). Aren’t they so cool?!

9. The Seventeen fashion interns dancing in our favorite dresses for the October issue.

10. There really is nothing like watching the sun set over the Hudson River.
