Greetings from a snowpocalypse Fayetteville!
Remember how I was talking about warmer weather? Well that only lasted for a day. We’ve had a snow day WEEK since Tuesday and I just got word that class is cancelled for tomorrow too. Doug and I are trapped in his house because our driveway is pretty much on a mountain and our cars are worthless in the snow. But hey, I’ll make the best of any situation!
I found this fun sweater where I work, and I’m so glad I got it just in time for this weather. It has definitely been a week of catching up on sleep, cuddling, and experimenting with creative boredom!
Oh and my giveawayends this Friday at 9pm (central)! You still have time!

The weather today has made a complete switch, and it feels like Spring (boo for allergies). Although I enjoyed the sunshine and the cool air, I want Winter to finish what it started…PUHLEASE. I still have some really awesome acrylic sweaters to rock, and I’m not ready to show my pale legs just yet! haha
When I saw this shirt, the bright red orange (Have you seen cardigan from the Steven Alan men’s lookbook? LOVE) really caught my eye and it was made from a cheesecloth fabric–which is lightweight and gauzelike so its perfect for layering and for Springtime days like this.
Colors are the first thing to catch my eye, and I love bright bold colors because they can brighten up even the gloomiest of days. Check out some the color trends for Spring 2011 from Refinery 29! Are you excited as I am?

So I made another video log, and I’ve finally decided to make one for every time I’m feeling whimsical and truly inspired. It’s crazy that my last post was when we had snow everywhere and in this one, the sun is shining and the weather is perfect (still chilly though).
School is officially in full swing and this is going to be the craziest/most exciting semester yet…plus I turn 21 in MARCH! Can I get a ‘what what’?!
Hope your week is off to a wonderful start, and if not…I hope it only gets better!
You still have until February 4th (10 days) to enter mygiveaway!!!

I’m in a winter rut, and jeans are quickly becoming my go-to item. Something amazing happened this week–I finally got the snow that I wanted! I only had two full days of school this week. My classes were cancelled yesterday and today and I’m so happy, because it makes up for the first part of the chaotic week!
I’m going a little stir crazy, but I the roads are better and I’m ready to release my energy! I guess my photos sum up my emotions : curious, excited, bored, stressed, and hyper. I guess being snowed in can do that to you!
Also, if you noticed a change to my layout…blogger did something cray-cray and now its weird. I’ll just roll with it.
And don’t forget to enter my giveaway, it never hurts to try!

My apologies for the delay in replies as well as posts, but I have been out and about ‘wandering’. Just a busy busy past few days. I didn’t forget about you guys, so I’m still responding back!
I’m also having my first giveaway, since I’ve reached over 200 followers and the video is a little silly and I was playing with the saturation tool so it looks a little funky, but I didn’t want to fix it haha. So let’s just say my brightness above makes up for the darkness in my video ;)
What you win:
Your own copy of P.S. I Made This by Erica Domesek, a red plaid trapper hat, and something made by ME (not discussed in the video, so surprise!)
