The By Misha S/S ’13 presentation was as adorable and sweet as the designer, Misha Vaidya–who presented a stellar collection during NYFW. The collection was delicately feminine and charming with dreamlike fabrics, soft pleats, and romantic necklines that looked like they had fallen right out of a fairy portal. Swoon-worthy right?

Fashion should never be taken too seriously, and neither should the following lists that I’ve compiled. Because if you can rock it, then well, rock on. The following is a (lighthearted) look back at the trends that I loved seeing this year and other trends I hope to see disappear. Enjoy!

The weather today has made a complete switch, and it feels like Spring (boo for allergies). Although I enjoyed the sunshine and the cool air, I want Winter to finish what it started…PUHLEASE. I still have some really awesome acrylic sweaters to rock, and I’m not ready to show my pale legs just yet! haha
When I saw this shirt, the bright red orange (Have you seen cardigan from the Steven Alan men’s lookbook? LOVE) really caught my eye and it was made from a cheesecloth fabric–which is lightweight and gauzelike so its perfect for layering and for Springtime days like this.
Colors are the first thing to catch my eye, and I love bright bold colors because they can brighten up even the gloomiest of days. Check out some the color trends for Spring 2011 from Refinery 29! Are you excited as I am?
What color are you most excited to wear/try?
