Recently I was contacted about participating in the Hanes Hosiery Better Than Bare Blogger Challenge and was given a chance to try some of their hosiery from their new Sheer Silk Reflections line. I’ll admit, I expected the “nude” colors to be completely noticeable but after trying them out for myself I’m a believer that sheer can in fact be better than bare. The one’s I’m wearing in this outfit post are in the ‘Little Color’ shade which has just the right amount of color for my pale legs as they transition into warmer weather.
In one of these photos I’m not wearing them at all, and you can’t even tell the difference. Can you guess which one I’m wearing them in? Yup, only the first one. I did like that they evened out my skin color and made them appear as if I had been slightly sunkissed, didn’t have an unnatural shine, and they kept my legs warm on this windy day.
Since I was feeling a little inspired by southwestern style when getting dressed, i decided to tuck my DIY-heart denim patch shirt into a vintage skirt with desert-toned neutral hues and a chunky turquoise ring. An easy look for a relaxing day. I hope you all are having a great week!

I agree with Judy- you can’t even tell you have anything on.
I’ve definitely noticed my own hesitation to put anything leg bearing on lately… maybe this is something to try…

I need to try those…you can’t even tell that you are wearing them! I hesitate to go bare sometimes when my legs don’t look their best but I hate traditional nude tights because you can always tell. These just make your legs look natural and really smooth! Great outfit!
